Ameoto DEV is a place were you can view and test all my past and present works and code snippets as well as submit your own project for us to host for you!
Ameoto Systems has been developing scripts for almost 5 years now and in that time we have made many useful things such as a syntax parser class and high speed caching framework, all used in WhiteCrane, along with many other fun tools. All of our script are ready to go out of the box and normally don't require annoying databases. Plus all scripts have been written from the ground up for awesome performance.
Ameoto Systems, the name? Ameoto is the shortened version of ame no oto(雨の音) which is Japanese for "the sound of rain".

Wiz Review
2010-02-05 2:08:51 AM by thetoothSo a week ago i got my GP2X Wiz and have been testing it alot and even though MagicEyes completely raeped the Linux kernel, development is just as fun and easy as that of a DS or GBA.
The Wiz is a next generation handheld console designed by GamePark Holdings(GPH) uses the Pollux 3D chip set designed by MagicEyes Korea which contains a ARM926EJ core clocked at 533MHz(safely overclockable to 800Mhz). Additionally theres 64MB of SDRAM with a much faster bus speed over previous consoles by GPH.
Besides being one of the most powerful gaming handhelds ever publicly released(the Pandora is no handheld), the Wiz holds some very new hardware including a nice fat 2,000mAh lithium polymer battery and a fairly decent Active-Matrix OLED display(I say fairly because being OLED it fixes ALL the the problems with current LCD panels yet reintroduces some issues long resolved in older technology's).
When it comes to software its honestly hit and miss... sure its running Linux but due to the ARM based chip set you'll need to target the architecture when compiling and that means "porting" which on any platform, opensource or not takes a long time. It's been almost a year since the device was released yet there is still no official SDK(luckily theres an open alternative) making development slow and tricky.
To sum it all up if your into arcade emulation and need a decent entertainment device then this is perfect but be prepared to put some effort into getting things to work or you may be left waiting a long time until someone else does it.
